Casa El Barranco is articulated through a series of exposed concrete volumes that project boldly over the topography. The project resolves the slope through a composition of horizontal planes and large glazed surfaces that dematerialize boundaries, integrating the natural surroundings as part of the interior space. The design emphasizes views toward the horizon, using deep cantilevers and terraces that function as suspended viewpoints over the terrain. It is a piece of tectonic architecture that seeks a balance between the solidity of the material and the lightness of its insertion into the site.
